Travel
From the North, South or East:
- If you are travelling from Interstates 65 or 71, take Interstate 64 West as you come into downtown Louisville.
- If you are travelling west on I-64, remain on it as you come into downtown Louisville . Get into the second lane from the right and take the Third Street/River Road (#5B) exit. This exit has two lanes and a traffic light at the bottom. Remain in the left lane of this exit and proceed straight at the light. Turn right onto Main Street. The Frazier Museum is on the right hand (North) side of the street between Eighth Street and Ninth Street.
From the west:
- If you are travelling on Interstate 64 East, get off at the Ninth Street (#4) exit. Get into the left lane, turn left onto Market Street, turn left again on Eighth Street, then left again onto Main Street. The Frazier Museum is on the right hand (North) side of the street between Eighth Street and Ninth Street.
Bus Parking
- Motor coach and bus drivers should ask Frazier Museum greeters for a permit.
- All vehicles must display a “Bus Parking Permit”.
- After tour groups or students unload in front of the Frazier Museum, vehicles may park free along the side of the Museum building on Ninth Street. These spaces have been made available courtesy of Louisville Metro. This is not Frazier Museum property; therefore, these spaces are shared with others and availability cannot be guaranteed.
Car Parking
- The Frazier has several convenient parking options. Perhaps the most convenient is the parking lot located next to the Museum on Ninth Street.
- Parking is $4 in this lot.
- There are also parking meters around the Museum’s main entrance, as well as a city-owned parking garage located behind the Louisville Slugger Museum on Eighth Street.
