Hard Hats

Enhance the scientific knowledge of your Key Stage Two students with our Materials and their properties focused Hard Hats session. This is a hands-on learning experience which allows children to consider the need for body protection.

Considering headgear and other armour, we compare our protection to that of other animals. We encourage pupils to use scientific vocabulary and to relate the materials’ properties to its function.
