Design and Technology

Our collection is a unique resource for students of design and technology.

Using the collection to design and create war machines such as a trebuchet, challenges students with real problems which a study of our collection can help them to solve.

Investigating arms and armour can provide alternative ways of approaching the study of resistant materials and the impact of forces on different materials.

We can offer students a quiet study base, hands on activities and an inside view into how arms and armour developed to counteract new weaponry.
