Student Groups at RA Tower of London

The Royal Armouries Education team offers schools a different and exciting approach to national curriculum subjects. Material Science is our speciality, and we have a state-of-the-art Material Science Learning Zone – VisionWorks, where your students can now learn about the protective qualities of materials past and present. In association with Historic Royal Palaces and Bayer MaterialScience.

We can provide a range of activities tailored to suit the demands of the National Curriculum, incorporating elements of practical investigation and object handling to produce a learning environment which ”stimulates and excites pupils’ curiosity about phenomena and events in the world around them”.

In addition to our science programme for schools we also offer other subjects such as history, design and technology, and art to groups with special educational needs, early years, and if you can’t get to the Tower we have outreach sessions.
