Studies in Depth: North America

Manifest Destiny

Our collection can be used to support study of the North Americas at GCSE, either as an introduction or revision.

• This session includes original and replica artefacts and archives
• Examines the reasons for increased migration to the American West, including ranchers, homesteaders and Mormons.
• Uses objects to illustrate the key differences between the nomadic tribes and American Settlers
• Analyses the events leading to the battle of Little Big Horn, 1876.

• All sessions last 60 minutes, for a maximum number of 30 students.
• Our sessions are £3 per student, with one adult free per ten students.
