Combine your study of the Tudors with an engaging creative art session. Our collection of unique artefacts can reveal the Tudor world in fascinating & unexpected ways. During 90-minute sessions students will touch & smell the everyday lives of the Tudor rich and poor.
Walk the Plank
- Take to the high seas with Elizabethan pirates.
- Discover how Elizabeth I controlled her privateers and how they plied their trade around the globe.
- Explore the visual language of the Tudor world by designing & printing pirate flags.
Dragon Slayer
- Explore original Tudor armours
- Explore how knights protected themselves when taking part in spectacular jousting competitions.
- Discover the surprising comparisons between modern sportswear and those of the Tudors.
- Explores the human form, the natural world, diversity and identity.
- Engineer moving card armours, skeletons or dragons.
