We can offer informative or hands on workshops, creative spaces and innovative starting points. We are happy to tailor make a session to fit the needs of your students.
We also offer these ‘off the peg’ sessions for students, combining a slide lecture with first hand study of original and replica artefacts.
Chaucer’s Knight
Examines the reality of knights and tournaments in the Age of Chaucer.
Words and War
Examines the impact of the World War I on 20th century poets and poetry and investigates the experiences of the soldiers in the trenches.
From Icon to Idol? England’s Faerie Queen
Explores the contrasting images of Elizabeth to reveal different views of this unique monarch.
Paradise Lost
Examines the ways in which Milton’s epic poem reflected the reality of the crisis of the English Civil Wars and the experiences of individuals.
Creative Writing
Our handling collection of original and replica objects can be used as a resource to inspire creative and poetic writing.
Drama
A visit to the Royal Armouries can also enliven any study of Henry V, Richard III, Macbeth or Romeo and Juliet. Discover the Earl of Southampton’s armour in the War Gallery and get a little closer to the world of Shakespeare, or use the collection to inspire in a drama workshop.

- All sessions last 90 minutes, for a minimum number of 15 students.
- Our sessions are £6 per student, with one adult free per ten students.
