Studies in Depth: World War One
Few organisations can offer the range of objects and resources we have available for students of the First World War.
- Our collection is wide ranging, engaging and safe to handle – be it a 25lb shell case or a Lee-Enfield Rifle.
- We examine the changing nature of society between 1914 and 1918 and look at the home front in some detail.
- Similarity and difference between Medieval and Modern warfare. Many ancient ideas about armour resurface during the Great War and we are lucky enough to be able to explore these objects and ideas.
