Language and Literacy
We have developed a series of Hands-On interactive sessions in the Education Centre to complement Language and Literacy.
- Uses replica and original objects from our handling collection
- Inspires creative writing, poetry or factual reports
- Explores traditional myths, legends, folktales
Beowulf the Dragon Slayer
- Anglo-Saxon heroic society as revealed through Beowulf’s story and his adventures with dragons.
Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
- Examine the changing images of King Arthur and his knights.
To Book
- All sessions last 45 minutes, with a maximum number of 32 students.
- Our sessions are £5 per student, with one adult free per ten students.
