KS3: Revolting Peasants & Cruel Conquerors
This interactive session explores peace & conflict through time from 1066 to Elizabeth I’s accession in 1558. Examining the feudal system, the peasants revolt, attitudes to women, faith and intolerance.
- Introduce key concepts about monarchy and how power is maintained.
- Build chronological understanding.
- Examine replica and original arms & armour, clothing, jewelry and much more.
- Similarities and differences between 1066 and 1558.
- Drawing parallels with modern events & attitudes.
