World War Two
Explore what really happened to Portsmouth during the Blitz. Find out what role your Great-grandparents had in this heroic time and experience the fire-power of a World War II gun.
This is a very suitable session for those studying World War II.
If we can’t get them interested in GCSE History then no-one can!
- Each booking is for a half day (finish at 12.00pm) or whole day (finish at 2.00pm). Groups usually arrive at 10am though this can be negotiated at the time of booking. The cost is £2.00 per pupil.
- There can be up to 4 sessions throughout the day, each lasting between 30 – 60 minutes depending on the age and ability of the pupils.
- Sessions are suitable for groups of 30 and any group larger than 30 will be split into smaller groups and will work their way around every session.
- We have enjoyed receiving groups of up-to 140 pupils in one day.
