What was it like in the Trenches between 1914 and 1918?
We aim to show you with our team of experts.
Examine real World War I artefacts, dress as soldiers (sorry, no trench-foot allowed), tour the Fort that was used as a transition camp before “Our Boys” went to France, and compete in fast-paced gun drill.

- Each booking is for a half day (finish at 12.00pm) or whole day (finish at 2.00pm). Groups usually arrive at 10am though this can be negotiated at the time of booking. The cost is £2.00 per pupil.
- There can be up to 4 sessions throughout the day, each lasting between 30 – 60 minutes depending on the age and ability of the pupils.
- Sessions are suitable for groups of 30 and any group larger than 30 will be split into smaller groups and will work their way around every session.
- We have enjoyed receiving groups of up-to 140 pupils in one day.
