Key Stage 3 - First World War: Trench Warfare

Trench Warfare

Discover the hardships suffered by Tommies fighting on the Western Front by examining images and objects from Royal Armouries’ collection.

In our interactive session, students will be able to handle items used during the Great War and learn about the military equipment used by British and German soldiers in the trenches.

Pupils will learn to march like a First World War soldier and master grenade skills as well as trying on military uniforms from the 1914-18 conflict.
