Hands-on Seminars
The Royal Armouries offers a range of sessions for the adult general public who are interested in deepening their understanding of our collection, arms and armour or related history.
This series of seminars is intended to give you an opportunity to experience first hand some carefully selected objects from the Royal Armouries great collections within a particular context.
We’ve designed each seminar to highlight an aspect of the role of arms and armour, spanning a period from the early Middle Ages to the present day; looking at how important they are to our history and how they relate to events in Europe and Asia.
We hope to appeal to a wide audience, and not only the dedicated specialist.
Seeing and learning about rare and important pieces and having the opportunity to handle and discuss them, with our knowledgeable curators and other collections specialists, is a dynamic and absorbing way to learn about aspects of the diverse range of arms and armour contained in this, the British national collection.
Time: 10.30am – 4.00pm
Price: £25.00 per delegate
