Toxophily: Archery from Europe and Asia Seminar

This seminar provides an introduction to the art of the archer in Europe, from medieval battle-winner to polite country house pursuit, and an overview of archery in Asia, from ancient Egypt to the ‘way of the horse and bow’ in Japan.

Each section will be accompanied by a handling session with original objects from the museum’s collection.
