70 years on from one of the darkest and most heroic times in the nation’s history we celebrate the spirit of the age through 1940s music, food and dance.

Events include:

1940’s hair and makeup workshop

• £5 per person

Swing dancing workshop and tea dance

• 11.00 – 16.00
• £3 per person

1940’s traditional sing along

• 11.00 – 16.00
• 4 × 20 minute performances

Original 1940’s bus display

• 10.00 – 17.00

Interpretations – throughout the day from 10.15

Falconry – 12.30 (30 mins),

• £3 per adult & £2 per concession

Horseshow – 14.00 (30 mins)

• £3 per adult & £2 per concession

Have a go sword – 15.15 (45 mins)

• £5 per child, suitable for children 8 years and over

Jester’s yard – 11.00 – 16.00

• £2.50 per child (adults free)
