Children's Activity Days
Every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the summer holidays (23rd July – 30th August) there will be plenty of activities for children of all ages.
Why not bring the kids along to the Royal Armouries for a ‘dangerously entertaining’ day out.
No need to book just drop in and enjoy some of the following activities:
- ARTS & CRAFTS – Come and join the Art Angels in crafts inspired by our new exhibition Arms and Armour from the Movies.
- BUNGEE TRAMPOLINES – Have a go at somersaults and back flips all at 30 feet in the air. Your chance to be a stuntman just like in the movies!!
- HORSE SHOWS AND JOUSTING – Come and see live-action demonstrations in our purpose built tiltyard.
- FACE PAINTING – Be transformed into your favourite movie character.
- CHILDREN’S GALLERY TOURS – Take a tour and discover a whole museum of treasures
- STORY TELLING – Our interpretation team bring exciting tales from the past to life.
- FALCONRY DISPLAYS – Watch birds of prey fly in spectacular displays.
- GAMES WORKSHOP, GAMING TABLES AND MODEL MAKING – Have a go at Lord of the Rings gaming, plus a chance to paint and play with your own model figure.
- SOFT PLAY AREA – Let your under 5’s run wild in our dedicated area for young princes and princesses.
Activities may vary from those listed above.
Museum entry is free but some activities carry a small charge.
Falconry and horse shows are weather dependant and we reserve the right to alter times and programmes without prior notice.
