Defendo Seminar

Created by Bill Underwood, it is designed to enable its practitioner to put an immediate end to any physical confrontation, with or without weapons, turning the attacker into the victim.

This is accomplished through joint manipulation, restraints, strikes, grips, leverages and by manipulating the aggressor’s nervous system.

Direct and extremely practical, Mr. Underwood’s techniques have proven themselves through “life and death” combat situations. In World Wars I and II it was taught to British soldiers to help them to survive if trapped behind enemy lines.

Defendo was reintroduced to the UK in 2003 by Chief Instructor Clive Elliot.
