Beat the February half-term blues and let off steam by joining an ‘Armoured Assault’ session at historic Fort Nelson.
Turn up in camouflage gear – or simply enjoy the session in ‘civvies’.
There’s a chance to climb inside and explore a tank-like vehicle, the Sexton, and watch driving and firing displays at 12noon and 2pm.
There is also a Junior Commando Assault Course running all day, giving youngsters a chance to let off steam with lots of energetic fun, including running, jumping and crawling.
At 1pm a 25-pounder gun will be fired.
There will also be hands-on activities, such as craft sessions and a themed treasure trail.
Fort Nelson also has secret underground tunnels and chambers to explore and hundreds of big guns and cannon.
