Dr Terror's Vaults of Horror!

Enjoy guided tours of the tunnels and see spooky special effects, gruesome goings-on and plenty of things that go “bump” in the dark! Performances are designed for all age groups – except those of a nervous disposition!

Visitors are led on a guided tour – there are up to ten tours daily from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Tickets are booked for a specific timed tour (non-transferrable). To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend booking tickets in advance. These are on sale now from the Fort shop or call 01329 848511 (£1 booking fee applies).

In addition to the main event there will also be a Halloween craft workshop where, for a small charge of £2 towards materials, you can make an executioner’s mask and axe to take home with you. Also listen to chilling tales with our spooky storyteller and watch our normal explosive daily gunfirings at noon and 3pm. Café, shop and museum all open as normal, but access to the tunnels is closed to non-event visitors.

Admission to Fort is free, admission to Dr Terror tunnel tours as follows: Adults £4, Children (3-15 years) £2, under 3s free.
