Join us in celebrating our national hero, we have lots of activities over the weekend:
- Enjoy the tale of St George and the Dragon portrayed in a traditional mummers plays, a folk play which originates in the Middle Ages.
- Falconry.
- Join the medieval musical duo providing Medieval music through out the day from their living history wagon.
- Heraldry making with the Yorkshire Heraldry Society – Saturday 18th April only.
- Our exciting St George and the Dragon joust; watch this legendary battle as he fights against the evil dragon, 2pm daily.
Some activities may carry a small charge

The joust is held each day at 2.00pm in the Tiltyard next to the Museum.

Premium Balcony seats are undercover and centrally placed overlooking the Tiltyard. There is a maximum capacity of 20.
